Tapering off LT4 with Homeopathy Breaking: My Presentation at the 77th LMHI Congress

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to present my research work on “Tapering off Levothyroxine in Adult Hypothyroid Subjects” at the prestigious 77th LMHI Congress in Seville, Spain. This annual event, organized by the Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI), brought together leading minds in homeopathy from around the world to share advancements, collaborate, and push the boundaries of medical knowledge.

The Research

My study focused on the intricate process of tapering off levothyroxine in adults diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine is a common and often lifelong medication for hypothyroidism, and my research aimed to explore the viability and outcomes of gradually reducing dosage in stable patients using Homeopathy. The goal was to evaluate the potential for reducing medication dependency while maintaining optimal thyroid function and overall well-being.

The Presentation

Standing before a distinguished audience from various countries, including Turkey, the United Kingdom, India, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, and Thailand, was both exhilarating and humbling. The atmosphere at the Congress was electric, filled with a shared passion for homeopathy and a commitment to advancing the field.

Key Takeaways

The response to my presentation was overwhelmingly positive. Delegates engaged in thoughtful discussions, offering valuable insights and feedback. Many were intrigued by the potential implications of my findings and expressed interest in collaborating on further research. It was particularly rewarding to see my work resonate with professionals dedicated to enhancing patient care through innovative approaches.

Using homeopathy we can maintain the well being of the patients and offer them the holistic treatment.

The group of remedies most commonly appeared in data analysis were Natrum mur, Sulphur, Carcinocin, Lachesis, Calc carb, Thuja, etc.

Conclusion

Participating in the 77th LMHI Congress was a highlight of my career. It underscored the importance of continuous learning, collaboration, and challenging the status quo. I left Seville inspired and motivated, eager to further my research and contribute to the global homeopathy community.
