By Dr Saurav Arora Co-Founder & Organizing Secretary, World Homeopathy Day (WHD) Celebrations and International Conference – Harmony with Homeopathy, Healing Beyond Borders, organised by The London College of Homeopathy (LCH UK)
On April 10th and 11th, 2026, the London College of Homoeopathy (LCH UK) had the profound honour of hosting the World Homeopathy Day (WHD) celebrations. This year’s gathering marked the 271st birth anniversary of the founder of Homeopathy, Dr Samuel Hahnemann, making it not just a celebration but a historic moment for the global homeopathic fraternity. The months of meticulous planning culminate in such a prestigious and intellectually rigorous event, which was a deeply humbling experience.
A Royal Tribute: Convening at the House of Lords
To celebrate World Homeopathy Day on the exact anniversary of Dr Hahnemann’s birth is always special, but to do so within the historic and royal environs of the Cholmondeley Room at the House of Lords, British Parliament, elevated the occasion to unprecedented heights. We were privileged to welcome a distinguished panel of dignitaries who shared our vision for the future of integrative medicine. It was an honour to host Councillor Amy Croft, the respected Mayor of the London Borough of Hounslow; Mr Randeep Singh Lall, Deputy Lieutenant of the Greater London Area, representing His Majesty King Charles; and Mr Chris Durkin, President of the West London Chamber of Commerce. Their keynote addresses resonated deeply, emphasising the undeniable significance of homoeopathy in the broader public health system and recognising its increasing demand in contemporary healthcare.
The inaugural day also provided a moment to look to the future. Following the felicitation of our dedicated LCH UK faculty, we held a formal graduation ceremony. Seeing our new graduates and distinguished alumni in their traditional academic gowns, robes, and caps added a brilliant touch of grandeur to the ceremony, serving as a reminder of the academic excellence we continually strive for at LCH UK.
Harmony with Homeopathy: Healing Beyond Borders
The momentum of our inaugural day carried seamlessly into our international conference on the 11th of April at the Hotel Radisson Red, Heathrow. Operating under the theme “Harmony with Homeopathy: Healing Beyond Borders”, the conference halls buzzed with the shared energy of one hundred and fifty delegates.
Having practitioners, researchers, educators, and students travel from the UK, Turkey, India, Poland, the US, Azerbaijan, Aruba, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and beyond was a true testament to the universal language of healing.
The academic rigour at the conference was exceptionally high. Spread across six dedicated scientific sessions, our community shared vital, evidence-based clinical cases and the latest scientific developments in our field. The clinical presentations tackled some of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare, with focused discussions on:
-
Mental Health
-
Postoperative Care
-
Oncology Support
-
Autoimmune and Geriatric Conditions
-
Iatrogenic Diseases
These sessions underscored the critical role homeopathy plays in integrated, patient-centred care.

Looking Ahead
This two-day event was the perfect opportunity to bring seasoned practitioners, tireless researchers, and passionate new graduates under one roof. The exchange of knowledge, the forging of new cross-border partnerships, and the shared commitment to advancing our discipline will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on how we practise and advocate for homeopathy worldwide.
To every delegate, speaker, and guest who joined us: thank you. Your dedication to the science and art of homeopathy is what made this historic celebration possible. We at LCH UK remain steadfast in our mission to foster education, research, and global harmony in healthcare, and I look forward to seeing where our collective efforts take us next.
